ResumeScanner was born out of a genuine need experienced by its creator during the summer of 2023. After applying to hundreds of software engineering internships and facing countless rejections without feedback, the question arose: "What if there was a way to get constructive feedback on resumes before applying?"

This project represents more than just a web application—it's a research initiative developed as part of the Adrian Tinsley Program (ATP) at Bridgewater State University, aimed at solving a real problem that affects countless students in their job search journey.
